I graduated from a normal college (I don't think they have blind ones but could be wrong) and attended public school before that I did go to a blind school, but only for about a year and it was when I was very young. I actually finished first and second grade in 21 days cause I had to catch up. I was in special ed until the fifth grade when I was mainstreamed. Then, I skipped the eighth grade. In high school I was an honor student and also took two Advanced Placement classes. In college, I was on the dean's list and took a few more honors classes, graduating with a 4.0 grade point average. and a BA in Sociology. Then, I took a course for teaching English as a Second Language through a company called Oxford Seminars. I'm currently taking a course through Hadley School For The Blind in the Nemeth math code so that I can become a braille transcriber. Prior to graduating from college, I was offered a $100,000 (no errors) scholarship to go to a grad school of my choice but I was burnt out and didn't know what I wanted in any case. Now, though, if I had the chance, I'd get my masters in Hellenic Studies.
I was mainstreamed from kindergarten onward, and will be doing my very best to become a music therapist.
I went to a residential school for the blind until my Junior and Senior years of high school. I went to a community college and then on to finish undergraduate and graduate school at a regular college. As was said earlier, I don't think there are any colleges for blind people here in the states. As far as Hadley goes, I'm a poster child for what a bad Hadley student should be. I don't have the self-discipline to be a good student by correspondence.

I've been in a normal school until about 1 and a half years ago when I started at the RNIB college in Loughborough. I didn't really like that college, so decided to move to this one, the royal national college for the blind (RNC) in Hereford.
I was at a regular elementary and middle school, but I am at a much better high school by far. This one gives you more credit, and there's absolutely no choice. It's a classical school, and I am in accellerated classes. All right, all right, I'll stop bragging now... (groans) I only went to CSB for a week for training camp, so I don't think that counts.
